I remember people pointing out that the whole story doesn't feel like a MK story at all. Makes you wonder how far they gotten into the IJ3 development, before turning it into MK1.

The multiverse aspect is the foundation of Injustice, so I believe they had the framework done and then decided to just make it MK1.
Conan is most likely just a replacement for Kotal, It's not like they're building a story around Conan fighting these people.

Hopefully, this gets them to listen to the fans. Still, I have a theory that the "KP3 is cancelled" is just a diversion and they actually are moving ahead with it. Mortal Kombat is now their baby on the gaming side in terms of money. I don't see them pushing out another MK game this soon unless its a side game like Shaolin Monks. Its just too convenient that they cancel KP3 right after leakers started leaking information. Then one of the main leakers announces he won't be leaking any more NRS related material. This would allow them to push the KP3 with minimal or no leaks. I mean, we had all the info on Khaos Reigns a year in advance.
You dudes are weirdos. You want everyone to play the exact way same since MK3. Nothing wrong with Ermac or Rain(who’s much better than he was in MK11 wtf) Nobody gives a fukk if Scorpion is Hanzo, Kaui Liang, Hahasi, etc. As long as he can throw spear and teleport. The gameplay just sucks pure and simple. Same with MK 11, which people are glazing to spite this. Dont rewrite history. That game is even worse
MK11 gameplay was much better. Rain is easier to pick up and play in this game, but his moveset is garbage. Ermac is not Ermac. He looks and feels like a completely different character. The retro skins do him more justice than his primary and alternate skins. He's more of a sorceror now and not this mysterious entity who used telekinetically used souls to lift opponents. He now summons gigantic monsters.
I agree about the Scorpion/Hanzo/Kuai Liang thing. Still, they could've accomplished the same goal by making Bi Han and Hanzo Hasahsi brothers.

Mortal Kombat is my favorite fighting game but WB & Netherrealm drop the ball on this one. If Kombat Pack 2 is the last DLC pack for this game than so be it. Normally once the second pack is dropped that's pretty much a wrap on updates.
I know one thing Ed Boon just needs to stick with The Kyrpt because Invasion mode was a bad concept. The main story and the add-on Khaos Reigns (overpriced) is garbage. Adding guest characters like Homelander (plays horrible) and Ghostface was ridiculous when they don't fit the MK theme is ridiculous.
I'm probably gone uninstall this before the year is over or by new years day.
