Some of y'all that are sayin that kids are too soft these days and can't handle gettin verbally chewed out need to ask yourself this: If u went into work Monday morning and your boss did exactly to u what he did to that Moorhead State player, how would u react? Seriously, would u just say "hey, its cool", an allow another man to to berate and publicly embarrass u in front of dozens of employees and customers? Hell no, most of y'all would end up gettin fired for cussin his azz out.
I'm not sayin that players shouldn't yell at players, but there is a line that shouldn't be crossed, in ters of physicly puttin hands on a player. I've had coaches chew me out cursin all crazy, but I just took it like a G,but every player ain't built like that. Oaches have to know how to coach each individual player

Its a perfect argument that I relative in terms of the relationship dynamic of a subordinate and an authority figure. My point is driven home beause in principal your boss and a player/coach relationship are similiar

Nygga did u even read my earlier post, describing how many crazy azz coaches I had in HS and in college football that chewed m out?
I ain't never been sensitive, anytime I got yelled at, I took it like a G. Idk where u got this idea that I'm sensitive. I merely posted a comparison of how people may react in the workplace if their boss did the same thing to them. That is all, relax my G
I'm sensitive as hell but sorry, there is no reason for a grown ass man (a basketball coach) to put his hands on one of his players in an aggressive manner. No one wants to play for a coach like that.
It's not about being sensitive, breh. That type of behavior is crossing the line. Period. Doesn't matter how often it happens or what level of competition we're discussing.
I'm ok with coaches yelling and getting loud (I yell a lot when I'm coaching my kids, and my best coaches yelled all the time too) but it becomes a problem when someone is shytting on a kid for making a mistake. My best coaches knew when to tone it down and I never feared them. You degrade a kid like that and many of them will either tune you out or hesitate out of fear whenever he gets in the game (only leading to more mistakes). It's just ineffective all around.
What big-name, successful coach constantly degrades his players like that? Besides, I highly doubt you guys defending this garbage would be ok with a coach talking down to your kid like that.
