I’m bringing this thread back to life just to say that manogamy being of broke men is a thing of the past.

We live in a world now where a man making 50K can have a job with top of the line benefits that would guarantee his wife and children survive.

We live in a world today where two broke people can have a child and as long as that child can make people laugh he can literally become a millionaire using TikTok.

Polygamy only worked in prehistoric times when people were savages. The times when yes a broke man was virtually useless.

Look at some of the powerful men that exist today. Some of them would not exist if polygamy was rampant.

Simply surviving isn't the crux of why a man may be able to command a polygamous situation, and living where you live, I'm not sure why 50K is the magic number.

What powerful men? Most of those men are sons of previous powerful men who did not spend the rest of their lives sleeping with one woman and were "monogamous" by legal definition.

Polygamy was never "rampant" in the first place because ratio of men with the resources/power to command it has always been low.

This is one of those "hit dogs will holler" situation.
Monogamous men being call broke.
But in reality it's just telling you that whatever you think is normal in life has probably been programmed into you by the society you live in.
So really get to know yourself and think outside the box.

Also, aim for success before trying to get women.
What you want for yourself might be different, once you're in a different space financially

My pop's is in his 60s with more rings than Jordan, he's always telling me how he gets all these women still (he's not lying lol). No gyal can bad him up, no gyal can tell him what to do rah rah.

I've been there and done that, had a small handful of girls I juggled when I was younger, and that was a headache; jealous friends, their friends always on my back, etc and I'm lucky that was all before social media exploded.

Circumstantial. If I came up with that person to get wealth, yeah. Companionship at an older age is important and it's hard for us to see because most of us here are between 20-40; most of us are only half-way through our life at best.

I'm looking at the struggles one of my homies is having with women. He's not wealthy, but dude is mid-30's and rich, and has women falling over him, but dude legit wants to be married with kids. Yet all he gets are women who end up trying to use him.

Polygamy is the natural order biologically. Because there are more women then men. And prior to abortion and technology leading to china and india aborting girls by the millions the numbers were even more women to men. So biologically speaking Polygamy is the right move for those with means.
