3. Pay attention to these two specific cases That I am speaking on. One of taraji's issue with Oprah was the pay.
Taraji - The way she described the issue with Oprah. It sounded like she didnt want to negotiate at all. Taraji admits her own team fumbled her career when they didnt capitalize on the success and popularity of the Cookie character and fired them. What is her pay equivalent? Who should she be paid like?
Monique - I remember the press run she went on. She wanted to to be paid the same level as Chappelle(20M), Chris Rock(20M), and Amy Schumer(13M). Let's use logic. Chapelle is Chapelle. Rock was still popular. At the time Amy was the hottest white female comic. Monique didnt have anything comparable to go on that level and hadnt been on a big tv show/film in a while.
