Its all about money and resources. If a man can afford it, there will always be women who will gladly accept. It is the same in Western cultures as well. Rich men have many girlfirends,sugar babies, but usually only one wife at the same time. Its the same thing done in different ways.

Without kids there’s no support. And the money is for the kid not necessarily the wife.
