There's already "polygamy" in America. People get "offended" at seeing it out in the open yet, they don't bat an eye at a man having 12 kids and 5 baby mothers.

If a guy has 12 kids, multiple women pregnant and almost none of those women go on to secure a real deal husband, what do you call that?

That's a kind of de facto polygamy that still doesn't take women off the market. Unmarriageable yes, but it doesn't stop them from having sex or even relationships.
