You're listing a number of failed or failing states in Africa and then pointing to articles that indicate that polygamy is what undermines these states. These states also share something else in comparison...oh, what was it...oh yeah, they're all formerly-colonized states that are places where people of different backgrounds were banded together as a country based on how European powers carved up the map and then were left to try and create coalition governments out of nothing after the colonizing powers left.
That's probably more of an issue than the tradition of polygamy. My goodness.
It's also a bad comparison because the United States =/= any African country on that list in so many ways that the comparison is utterly incoherent.
Then you can compare different African, different asian, different middle eastern societies.
The ones who are polygamist, tend to be worse off for a range of reasons.
Theres 56 African nations. most of them weren't on that list.
