Will they keep the team name and color scheme?
It's not the first time the A's have moved.
I've always loved their home uniforms, they are the best uniforms in the majors along with the Dodgers.

Would be a bad idea to lose the Athletics name since it goes back over 100 years

Color schemes...meh

8-10 Raider games a season is easy. The NHL works for a 17K indoor arena. Trying to get 30K fans a night for 81 home games is a whole different monster after the novelty wears off in a year or two for a city in the desert. It's not going to be that many people flying in for midweek baseball games when they're not even going to the parks to support their local or in state MLB teams as is:patrice:

like many teams, it's all in the scheduling. They'll be real strategic about when the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, etc. make their trips there.

A's have made the playoffs 11 times since 2000. They've been a competitive franchise for the most part, so you can't blame the on field product.

Oakland Alameda Coliseum was outdated in the 80s and every effort to replace it has been stymied. I went to a Raiders game in 2012 and an A's game in 2014 and the in stadium experience was atrocious and this was damn near 10 years ago. Can't imagine what it's like now. Other than some exceptions (Fenway Park, Dodger Stadium, Lambeau Field, Wrigley Field) playing in a outdated stadium put the A's in a competitive and economic disadvantage.

If the city of Oakland wanted to keep their teams, they would have made the investment like every city has to do. Libby Schaaf and Jean Quan weren't interested in even trying, so here we are.

Sucks for the fans, but that's business for you.

The Dodgers need a new stadium.

Dodger Stadium is trash.

I thought Chavez Revine was revered in LA?
I went albeit like 15 years ago and it was dope.
I’m not from LA but I lived nearby many years ago for a short time.

Getting to it and leaving is terrible.
The stadium is old and lacks modern amenities.

There’s an argument for Fenway and Wrigley having a certain charm. Even if the stadiums are outdated.

But I found no charm at Dodger stadium.
It was a good experience because of the weather. That’s about it.

And I was grateful that no drunk idiots got into a fight.
