the problem with these worked shoot angles is in order to sell it being "real" you have to keep him off TV for a while, it might be worth it to end the whole "is this real?" charade and get him back on TV pretty soon because the Forbidden Door bullshyt has the show feeling dry af

There's a good chance that this was an angle to keep his heat and save face after getting squashed. If he's not back and in a big angle by the show after All Out, then this wasn't a work, but it's too early to say it wasn't imo.
