Because if you're trying to sell that he walked out and is trying to get fired, then you wouldn't talk about it because you're not gonna talk about backstage shyt on the air. And let's humor the possibility that this was all 100% real, then you really wouldn't talk about it on TV in that case. So what can they do?

Shouldn’t have had him cut that promo on the dynamite right after the ppv. That’s as hot as this storyline was gonna get and they just wasted it

There's a good chance that this was an angle to keep his heat and save face after getting squashed. If he's not back and in a big angle by the show after All Out, then this wasn't a work, but it's too early to say it wasn't imo.

No and thats why he might have went away, because another one of thsoe feuds after Wardlow would kill him. he has to come back and do something other than what you mentioned.

MJF had to take a break for a minute, since he'd taken two major Ls in a row to Wardlow and CM Punk. Really, it's more like four, since he lost to Jericho two shows in a row, straight up, and in the Stadium Stampede match.

And for all we know, Khan might be trying to galaxy brain this shyt, and thinks he's in the middle of flipping his actually business issues with MJF into long term booking or something. Either way, he needed to be gone for a little bit as of right now.

It shows MJF isn’t that good. Anybody that’s remotely talented can cut an MJF style promo if they’re given the leeway to use profanity and go after low hanging fruit. MJF was basically cosplaying Shane Douglas, and people were acting like he was doing something revolutionary.
