  • Khan reportedly told members of the roster he’s “willing to pay MJF like a top talent,” but “MJF’s frustration didn’t subside.” Fightful also says “MJF told numerous people backstage he knew that the situation would likely come to a head and be discussed come Double or Nothingweek.”
  • Some members of the AEW roster are upset with MJF, according to PW Insider. Their sources think there was “some sort of agreement” reached to get through Double or Nothing.

It's an interesting situation. If they ice MJF until 2024, they'll look just as bad as WWE holding talent hostage. If they release him now, they're handing WWE a 25 year old top star for free.

If AEW can't make things right with MJF, the next best thing they can try is making a deal with WWE to let MJF and Sasha go at the same time. WWE's not making money burying and suspending Sasha and AEW's not making money icing MJF.

Difference is WWE is doing that shyt and doing nothing with the talent(Mustafa Ali,.) MJF is being a whiny entitled bytch on some Warrior shyt despite TK agreeing to pay him more money.

Ya'll still thinking these wrestlers treat this shyt like wrestling fan boys.

Money is literally the #1 motivation for all of these wrestlers, as it should. And not just base salary but just the general exposure of WWE eclipses anything from AEW. WWE is the mountain. Ya'll can debate online how much you like about booking and workrate but WWE is the highest level to get to in the wrestling business and any ambitious person in the industry who believes in themselves should have that as a goal to achieve.

And will they be booked badly? Probably. But guess what AEW signing up every bum ass ex-WWE guy who ever worked a WWE Main Event jobber match, so why not try your hand at the big leagues to see if you can get a big push, and if it doesn't work out, Tony's mark ass gonna be there the moment your contract is up with a big ole offer.

I think AEW is a good place to start your career, build up a rep, get experience through indies and international promotions, but WWE should be a goal for any wrestler who believes in their talent.
Well I said it was totally understandable. Hell if I was young I'd probably do the same thing if they were paying me a lot more money, then get the fukk out after I got my money.

But it's not always about the money. For example, Jade Cargill rejected WWE because of the schedule. Even a guy as big as Roman took like 12 years to get off that house show circuit.

Time will tell how real this was BUT there is a part of me that thought this PPV had no buzz going into it and what do you know, MJF has an issue and he won't show up, "tune in to see what happens!", and now leading up to the event, suddenly everyone was talking about this PPV, even if it was not about the matches....
