Some folks just got to learn the hard way that working more ain't always better. Used to work a job putting in like 50-60 hours a week on the regular and I'm in a job now working 36, life so much better ever since. I'm never going back to that 50-60+ hour a week bullshyt.
Get paid in AEW and work like a fraction of the schedule. Top paid AEW guys probably making more per match than WWE guys are unless they are like Roman and Lesnar and got WWE to give them a part-time schedule.

Want to work more? Take an indie booking or go to Japan for a guest appearance. Open a wrestling school. Start a vlog or do more vlogging. Start podcasting. Start getting into acting like Miro did.

We have AEW wrestlers going on mini vacations in between Dynamite episodes. WWE has people that don't get breaks for years.

Use your creativity how you want to. Control your own damn schedule. WWE sure as fukk isn't going to give you this kind of freedom and flexibility. Can't do shyt without going through them first.

Young people like MJF don't understand shyt like that. All the money in the world isn't going to buy you more time. If I had the chance to roll the clock back 15 years I never would have gone into the career path that saw me work so much. I missed out on so much shyt because I had to work. Had to miss my best friend's wedding. Had to miss my cousin's funeral after he committed suicide by hanging himself. Missed watching countless games for my favorite teams. Missed numerous events I would have liked to attend. List goes on and on.

I doubt TK would pull a massive bait and switch this close to the ppv; if MJF legitimately bailed I'm sure he would have gone Twitter fingers to announce that.

At least with the current storyline, if he ran home it could have easily been explained as him tucking his tail between his legs and running away from having to face Wardlow in the ring.

This guy doesn't even know the general sports/sports entertainment business works these days. I used to write on shyt all the time when I wasn't there. I covered games from outside the fukking country. This is 2022, not 1972. Only people that knew more about the teams I covered with were the ones on the team. I didn't have to be with them every step of the way to cover them.

If it's legit, TK should just release this dude. Let him see how he can handle shyt on the deep end. AEW will go on with or without him. :russell:

Let's see if CAWdy has that kinda pull with Cokeboy to let MJF have some value on the roster. :jbhmm:

I’m all for offering his release after he puts Wardlow over. No more 2024 leverage, no more bidding war. When WWE showed last winter having those episodes of Smackdown with less than 10 wrestlers on the show, it told WWE future. So if MJF thinks that’s better, go.

If tony is already paying these ‘journalists’ wouldn’t he have them report all this just the way he wants? Thus them all reporting it’s happening would mean to me it’s not happening

I would know what Kayla Braxton has to say

I’m mad people are treating this like anything but a work. A big controversy the day before a show that had no hype or interest around? C’mon now.

Dirtsheet beef is somehow more entertaining than the shows they cover.
