Semi hot take: while this flipping is largely due to Barbenheimer, I think an equally large part of it is the quality of this movie in comparison to its predecessor. I think any of the last 3 MI movies are at the very least keeps it’s respectable in the box office. This was a good movie but it wasn’t a must watch the some of the other MI movies imo

The ‘Part 1’ in the title probably makes it a lot easier for people to wait for streaming too.

Mission impossible Fallout is up there with 1 and 2. Probably my fav after 1 to be completely honest. This movie is good but I feel is kinda cliche to the whole Ethan character and a lil underwhelming compared to Fallout. It’s good but I was looking for more. 7.5/10

Must see in theatre. No way that train scene hits the same at home. If you eliminated the chase scene by like 10 minutes this would be a classic. But its close enough
