nikka they not Giving the Hawks those Three picks. They will use those picks to move up to like number 5-8 and use that with players to try to get Howard.

Would I have rather remained in the draft? Sure. I woulda have traded back if it were me, so staying at 18 didn't mean shyt, but I knew they'd trade the pick. They're pushing for the playoffs now. As much as I loved some of the prospects that could be there, Rick Adelman didn't want another rookie. I understand that. This team's already gotta figure out what to do with the #2 overall pick from last year. Adding #18 (and have that player be a PF) doesn't help.

I'm not saying Chase is gonna be the answer to our problems. At best he's a rotational player. I don't think Rick was relying on #18 to be that either.

Because it doesn't address your teams biggest weakness which is perimeter defense. Jeff Taylor is the clear solution and he can knock down shots and has a40 inch vert and is the superior defender and athlete. That's why you should be hot about it.

Our biggest weakness is SG. Simple and plain. Then it's followed by lacking a rim protector to go with Love and Pek. Then it is SF.


Now Jeff Taylor woulda been nice to add don't get me wrong. Big fan of his. But at 18 even though he's projected to go in the late 20's? That's a reach. That's what you're not understanding. I would have added TWO rookies if I could, but Rick wants more established talent, so he went and got a guy that knows his system.

its somewhat upsetting, mostly because its so makes everything more bland but the pick probably wasn't going to work out unless some of the prospect/potential picks dropped that far.

i do feel like the wolves probably should have just made a bit of an effort to get someone of color

He'll be fine on the Wolves. It's not a terrible deal, but it's just not blockbuster either. He's an athletic wing player who can shoot. That's what Minny needs.

Actually I didn't contradict myself. Im saying it's easy to get an average 2 guard but there's only like 4 elite ones in the league. Brandon Rush is a average 2 guard and he's a non-starter for us. Yall got robbed without a pistol.
