I would do this deal if i were them but they wouldnt be a playoff team which isnt a bad thing because the MAgic should look to totally rebuild once Dwight leaves not be stuck as a lower tier playoff team

Name 8 East teams better. If this rumor goes down. Orlando is a 6-7 seed

Heat
Pacers
76'ers
Chicago--maybe
Hawks
Boston--maybe
Orlando

They would in my eyes be a playoff team

Someone post a highlight vid or tell me more about Budinger that will make me feel good about this trade :snoop:

one of the most athletic white guys in the game.

3 point shooter than can slash to the rim at times.

below average defense.

solid player that would be good for minny off the bench

PAT 2 HTown
Picks+bad contracts would go to Orlando. Rockets get a one year rental of Howard and then cap space to play with in 2013.

I think Chase is going to be a good player for the Wolves.

He's a more than decent 6th man coming off the bench.

I guess Min wanted a player further along in their development.

Here's what Hollinger is saying:

For Minnesota, it gets two players who could potentially help. Budinger gives the Wolves a wing player who can shoot and score, something they rather painfully lacked last season, and his arrival may be a signal that Michael Beasley and Martell Webster (who is owed only $600,000 if waived by July 1) won't be back. While I like him better as a sixth man than a starter, Budinger will be an improvement on what the Wolves had in either capacity, and his cheap contract means the Wolves could still have $11 million in cap space for next week's feeding frenzy.

Eliyahu could prove useful too -- an Israeli combo forward who posted solid translated European stats the past few seasons, he's an immediate threat to overtake Omri Casspi as Marc Stein's most tweeted-about player. Last season's stats for Maccabi Tel Aviv translate to 13.8 points, 7.7 boards per 40 minutes and 50.1 percent shooting, for an 11.47 PER. He tried one 3-pointer the entire season, so this guy won't be spacing the floor, but if the Wolves let Anthony Randolph walk it may open minutes for him.

---------------------------------
Don't seem to pretty but he's an upgrade over Wes J. I'm hoping we do something next week with the cap room.

Me or you dont know if our Bulls are gonna tank this coming season. Boston might have to rebuild. Ray Allen and Heat have interest in each other. KG out spending his weekends with Tim Duncan.

Really? Where the Knicks

Knicks are in there somewhere between the 4-6slot
I should do 1-8 over. I just put that together really quick my bad

I think Chase is going to be a good player for the Wolves.

He will do alright with the Wolves

My Pops Forever RIP
Smh at the Wolves

I get Budinger is a decent player, good shooter, but there would be good options with more upside at 18.

That's why they traded it. Upside's the last thing on their minds right now. They wanna start winning now. I figured they wouldn't keep it. I don't know if I should be happy they didn't sell it or disappointed they didn't package #18 with something else. The trade screams meh to me to be honest. I was a big Chase Budinger fan about 3 years. Not sure how I feel about him now.

What makes me upset about this trade is that they did it now without looking at who could fall on draft night. If they did this on draft night depending on who's there, I couldn't even be that upset. Sadly, the Wolves upgraded at wing big time today. That's why I'm not happy, but I'm not walking around furious. Believe it or not, this trade coulda been worse.

side note: this team is fukking white as snow

Chad Ford just said on ESPN that if Houston can get Howard they also will try to go after Josh Smith.

He also said,Houston may move Martin to have enough cap room to go after D.Williams.
