Also, this is being pushed by the Alt-Right so clearly there’s an agenda.

Man, charity scams have been one of the biggest hustles for generations. I'm not telling people what to do with their money - but cmon... yal can't be making excuses for a lack of even the most basic transparency. With a few million they could've had cops snitching on their counterparts all over the country like a start-up TMZ, bought their own damn jailbreak, or made a fukking reality TV show on the entire process to pitch the Netflix, etc and I'm not even in the business of humanitarian aid/media corroborative efforts.

The amount of money spent on what they've labeled as their primary cause shows a concerted effort to NOT do what they've set out to.

Even with all those ideas, it takes time to draft it up and lay it all out. It’s only been a month, it’s just about impossible to earmark $35 million dollars in that span of time, especially with a small staff (even if they just plan on keeping it for themselves, it takes a lot of time to figure out how to hide it). They may not even have a full time accountant or treasurer.

They mentioned a lot of people arrested were released without bail being necessary and that other money is going to fight ongoing cases. How true that is I don’t know, but they deserve more than a month’s time to figure it out. If 6 months from now we’re looking at the same issue, then by all means it’s time to get at them.

but you ain’t lying; working around non-profits, most of the money they get doesn’t go to actual programming or mission work. It’s more people trying to line their own pockets than help their community.

And the possibility that they drafted up ways to walk away with the most money and least effort isn't real?

The fukked up truth is that these charity initiatives small and large just switch out the names, brandings, image, and staff while racking up free and untaxed money. Six months from now they'll either be long gone with an empty address, reinvested in something else that got nothing to do with their original claims, or having some near auto-populated juelz list of excuses that keeps giving out reasons why they need more time and/or money to accomplish whatever ambitions the few remaining sunken cost loyalists eat up the most...

"Gurl, we see y'all"

Anyone noticed that that is now the way corporations speak to black people on social media and within marketing campaigns?

Be guided, friends.
I've noticed organizations and businesses becoming more and more unprofessional with the way they pander and condescend through public relations and marketing. It's a slap in the face to the public and especially black people.

They’re not stealing money...yet

they’re a relatively new charity so it’s literally impossible to spend that money so soon.

they did take down the page showing all the people behind it are white, however :mjpls:
