so one game in the nadir of redskins history and the coinciding peak of a steelers' run of dominance means fedex gets invaded regularly?
you really don't know shyt breh...you're the transplant that only knows transplants i was referring to earlier, aren't you? you from jersey, florida, or oregon?
the steelers and cowboys are special cases historically, because of the marshall racism thing back in the day and the fact that no one wanted to live in pittsburgh in the 80s so they came here for jobs. those are two teams that might have a strong presence in the area, and that one game, as i said before, was an exception.
fedex field is a horribly inconvenient stadium with partially blocked views all over with a mediocre team playing in it, yet its nearly always filled to capacity with people wearing burgundy and gold. horrible fans
shyt, mastermind and i are on this site every nfl season lamenting how well supported the skins are despite the high prices and bad teams.
when the wizards were a .500 team they sold out every game. what city in america packs the gym for a team that wins 15 games? when boston was winning title after title in the 60s, they barely supported the celtics, yet everyone considers them the greatest sports city of all time? it took white superstars to get consistent sellouts in the garden
there's a layer of washington that transplants aren't even aware of that operates underneath all the hysteria of the city that newcomers thrive on
