I'm saying ... the Mystics brag about how they lead the WNBA in attendance, despite the well known fact they give away a shyt load of free tickets.... it's not like DC fukks with the Mystics like that.
clearly attendance is not a true barometer of what a sports town is.
DC is pretty much a sterile ass town in terms of sports these days, there are enough fans of non local fans that you really know what teams run the city.

DC is getting better as a sports town due to more sports radio now .. but the thing i noticed is how different the sports fan is here...it's like a weird casual/homer hybrid fan... like they are homers in that they think their team is the sh*t, brag about wins, talk a lot of sh*t when the team is winning. but turn casual during tough times...and definately not very passionate... aside from skin fans when they are winning (which hasnt been the case since early 90s)

DC is not worse than Atlanta or Miami as a sports town. I'll agree there are alot of transients in the area. But not a good sports town? The city lives and dies with the Redskins. And it's a basketball hotbed. And now the Nats are doing something. For people calling my city a bunch of front runners, why the fukk would you spend alot of money that you really don't have to go and support a shytty product? But then again, you see FedEx Field is always sold out for Redskins games and the Skins have sucked ass for damn near 20 years so there goes the frontrunner theory, so don't answer that last question.
