Black America is already restricted in the amount of capital it is allowed to amass. The majority of us are poor by design. If discrimination ended and opportunity became truly equal, we would contribute over a trillion to the economy every year. White America doesn't care about that trillion. You miss the point. Economic action is meaningless. It won't change shyt.
You can be a self-defeatist if you want. History has shown us repeatedly what minority groups need to do to get ahead. Stop being a victim of your inferiority complex.
Black America is NOT restricted in terms of amount of capital it can amass. Our community continues to gain more and more money with each passing generation. There are more black millionaires today than ever before. There are also more black-owned businesses than ever before. The problem is that we don't keep our money. If we had practiced group economics since the 70s, we'd be in a much better position financially and, more importantly, we'd be wielding our wealth into power and could implement change that's favorable to our community.
Now, granted we tried that before with Black Wall Street. But when that was nixed, we should've stuck to the script and kept building. Like the Jews and Asians, we should've continued practicing group economics in the face of racism and vigilantism.
