Alot of these younger dudes wouldn't even know about Lord Infamous
In the 90s the average hip hop fan didn't know who Lord Infamous was.
in the 2000s the average hip hop fan didn't know who Lord Infamous was.

It's crazy to see how influential he was despite being a regional artist during his peak.

Three Six went platinum before Mobb Deep :sas2:

Bone Thugs are the most successful rap group of all time, its not like they were some underground acts, theyve sold like 30 million records :mjlol:

if i joined MLB today and had a batting stance like Ken Griffey JR, but because he hasnt played in years, im now the creator of this batting stance? :dwillhuh: life dont work like this man.. why in rap we try to rewrite history so much i have no idea

Exactly.

I've said before hip-hop is like a tree where the people climbing it are constantly sawing off it's branches. 20 years from now nobody will give a fukk about Migos and the same people currently dikk riding them and downplaying Lord Infamous will be talking about :mjcry:"b bu but they were so influential back in the day!"

I'm not talking about Juicy J, DJ Paul, Project Pat or even Gangsta Boo.
Lord Infamous wasn't a name hip hop fans across the country knew.

Edit: I think Mobb went Platinum first. Murda Muzik in 99.

But Migos didn't bite Lord Infamous. They probably didn't even know who he was until people said it's his flow. Migos came up on Outkast, D4L, Tip, Jeezy, Gucci, Lil Scrappy.

Migos flow was something they did spontaneously.

No one's gonna like this post, but if we keep it a buck the LORD INFAMOUS/BONE THUGS flow was bubbling in the underground before Migos ever touched it

Asap rocky did it on the first song of his breakout tape from 2011 (1:28)

Other underground artists such as Denzel Curry were doing it in 2012
