gameplay is actually legit

then they took the worst parts of FE3H and jammed Borderlands 3-tier writing and rapid-fire quips into it

Ok, so Nico is absolute trash

She’s pretty much the cait sith of the game, which i guess makes sense for her skill set/abilities, but damn…

Maybe I’ve gotten lucky with her RNG but she’s actually been a solid unit for me when I’ve had to use her. Magik is the character I’m least effective with, but she does have some crazy setups with her portals.

Dr Strange is pretty damn good with strong attacks and that agamotto’s gaze move that gives you an extra card play on your next turn. Probably one of my personal standouts in battle. Captain marvel is a great tank too with the Go Binary ability

They did a really good job of conveying each hero’s powers within the turn-based gameplay. I’ve mostly been focusing on upgrading Hunter’s deck but I’m starting to find my favorites as I experiment with lineups

Yeah, theres some nice team combos you can put together, like if you use ghost riders ‘hell pit’ or whatever its called, and use Magiks portal ability you can push a high level enemy into it form across the stage, instant KO.

Also, damn i did not know high level bosses could drop into optional side mission. It’s like X-Com 2 with those hunters

Spider Man and Captain Marvel are cool too. I just made it past the 1st difficulty bump. I don't mind the social shyt and the exploring. Games addicting.
