Not much impressions yet, just did the tutorial battles but the polish and cinematics are definitely high tier stuff. Definitely feels like a higher budget Firaxis title.

Played a few hours last night (New Zealand xbox trick 
) and got through the tutorials, early missions, and initial social stuff at the base
This game is Marvel PersonaEmblem-Gwent
Combat is very unique. It's turned based strategy where you want to position your 3 units to hit as many enemies as they can with a single attack and/or knock them back into each other or environmental hazards for extra damage, however you have a small deck of cards that determine what attacks you can do each turn. It sounds limiting, but the attacks can be very strong and there's good payoff for smart play. You "build" out your units by modifying and upgrading their deck of 8 cards, which determine what you can draw each turn. There's more to it but overall its got depth and is very unique. I can see why reviewers were raving about it
The social elements is where it's gonna be hit or miss for some people. There's a day/night loop like Fire Emblem and persona along with friendship meters for all the heroes and a base to explore. This game is highkey a cheeky JRPG. Very cutscene and dialog heavy outside of combat. The main story is cool but the dialogue is on some TeenNick shyt

Someone said it's like someone made the game a Self-Insert fan fiction where all your favorite superhero are trying to be your create a player's BFF It's a little silly to see the worlds greatest heroes turn into Degrassi characters back at the base. Some people will absolutely hate this but if you've played Persona/FE or Mass Effect, you'll feel right at home.
