I thought we established that 1st party titles aren't the biggest sellers outside of "brands" like that of nintendo and technically marvel so spiderman would fall into that.

in order for halo to sale like that xbox would have to massive numbers of systems out in the wild or the game would have to be f2p, so maybe halo infinite does something close to that. ( profit would have to be determine by battle pass sales and things so we'll never know)

CS:GO is a F2P title. And it's not even close to 100m. The top 5 games on steam are all F2P. The majority of packaged games don't sell 1m, let alone 7m, and that's only a year of sales. It's not a flop in any ecosystem.
