I can't wait for Spider-Man 2 and Halo: MCC to show up side by side as icons on my PS5 home screen. Or to get hyped for Ghost of Tsushima 2 and The Outer Worlds 2.

Honestly, the best thing about this multiplatform strategy is we can openly criticize and compare microsoft games to the competition without getting pushback

Like watch if they announce avowed as a multiplatform everyone gonna say its basic

Microsoft been half way out not trying to support Xbox since Xbox One launch. I don’t know why because 360 was the best console of that generation. As soon as Phil build them up boom now they want to take over again.

Now this is true. See, we can agree on something. 360 especially had a great lineup through 2007.

I think Mattrick took over, got infatuated with Kinect, didn't do great management of their in-house devs because Kinect was a huge money maker, so he was focused primarily on getting Kinect games out, and then was a complete disaster pre-XB1 launch.

I do believe that if Steve Ballmer was still there and willing to take losses and time to get Xbox to the top, and if Peter Moore was the one leading Xbox division and making sure that all their acquisitions were developing games smoothly and in a good rhythm, they would absolutely have pulled off forcing Sony into a corner and getting them to accept Game Pass in the medium future. But they're stuck with Satya, who is all about that quarterly profit, and Phil, who is terrible at his job. It is what it is.

They will probably have one more that exclusive streams games. MS is looking toward the future, console gaming is not it anymore.

Phones, tablets, smart tvs, computers, VR headsets, the infrastructure is already here. Just like their are countless laptop makers but their all running windows.

Sony stans eat this up like a win but MS has basically bought them out, they now own almost all the major IPs of the last 20 years and in the next 10 years you will be able to play those games on any platform. Its only a matter of time before playstation will be obsolete because you can play/stream the game on other devices. Then in another 20 yesars when MS contols the market, they might release a MS devive that plays there games.

The game has changed console arnt the media hubs like they used to be. Back in the day people bought a PS2 just to play DVDs but now you buy a console and all you get to do is game on it. The entire concpet is gone when you can play the game on any smart device. It pigion holds sony to keep making hardware while MS moves on. Nintendo will be fine either way because of the IPs they have but Sony IPs are far and few compared to MS and Nintendo. This is a big win for MS.

There will always be console buyers... Sony just cornered the market..

They been saying consoles are over since they came out. But until you get the ease of play and the low cost as compared to a PC, there will always be a market for it

I got it first day launch. Got Forza, Battlefield, Nba2k, Ryse, and traded Wack ass madden in. Played Titanfall alpha was impressed but it is basically COD with mechs. The system seriously has no games in the near future and that games that does come out is better on PS4.

Smh at you buying Killzone and no Ryse is not better than infamous it's a good game but don't come close. I never played dead rising and has no interest in doing so and Forza is worst than Project Gotham racing 2.

I just don't see the exclusives for the year on Xbox. How many fukkin Halos they are going to make where is the first gen awesome titles like Sony.
