Sony no longer has to pay for whatever deal to get their 30% of sales. M$ essentailly paid 7.75b to keep Sony from paying for the exclusive deal, and still get 30% of whats sold on their platform.

Why would they care if someone else kepts getting what they were getting when they can now get more and own the product.



If Indiana Jones didn't go to PlayStation then what Sony gets 0, instead Sony gets what they get and MS gets more than they would have gotten plus they own them.

They cared enough to make Starfield exclusive to Xbox (consoles), Redfall, HiFi Rush, etc.

what's hard to understand. They bought Zenimax with the intention to have exclusive games to drive up gamepass and console purchases. That didn't work, so they are pivoting to releasing more games on PS as a 3rd party.

Big games will be on Gamepass only. It will be up to platform holders to decide if they want to allow Gamepass on their system or not.

i never once said “it didn’t count” i said it’s not being ported due to generating enough revenue to cover development
