And now sony doesn’t have to pay for Bethesda deals because xbox is willingly giving them away because they don’t sell on their own platforms :laff:
So they getting 70 percent of the nothing they would have got with the game being exclusive on PS and 100 percent of whatever they sell on their own storefront

Yes and now they own a 7.5 billion dollar company.

:dahell:

So how value did they lose?

I didn’t say they lost value (although that could also be true due to now being forced to port) you asked if they were profitable.

I’ll also say we do know that starfield didn’t make nearly as much money as fallout 4 and skyrim so…make of that what you will. They know keeping their games off playstation is going to cost them in the long term which is why this is now happening

Yeah now Microsoft can actually profit and have games that y'all swore up and down Sony wasn't locking them out of

:mjlol:
Sony no longer has to pay for whatever deal to get their 30% of sales. M$ essentailly paid 7.75b to keep Sony from paying for the exclusive deal, and still get 30% of whats sold on their platform.

That was y'all claiming Xbox was going to get ABK and take all the games away, and force everyone to buy a Xbox, listing all kinds of reasons and scenarios of how bad this is for the industry...now y'all are like Xbox is going full 3rd party.

It never made sense for them to lock down games on just Xbox when they sell like crazy on everything.

It made all the sense in the world. Exclusive games to get people to sign up for gampass and buy xbox.

It isn't working out so they have to go the 3rd party on PS route.

If you doubt what I'm saying ask yourself why Redfall and Starfield were exclusive.
