I ended up with 3 different xbox 360s (4 technically), but never got the RRoD.

My launch model ended up getting stolen when someone broke into my apartment
I ended up buying the 360 elite with the insurance money, but that one eventually got the Disc Read Error issue, and my work arounds eventually stopped working around.
Sent the elite to M$ to be repaired, and while i waited I bought a used base model from gamestop until mine got fixed, then i returned that bytch
If I remember correctly, M$ couldn't get repair my elite or send me a new one, so they ended up sending me a 360 E console as a replacement for my elite, and I still have it to this day.

The one I bought RROD twice and I couldn't fix it anymore cuz the warranty expired, so I bought one of the newer(2009)ones with the HDMI port for cheap off of someone and it still works to this day.
