So essentially...Sony stans said the game was ready...and Microsoft agreed.
The blind xbots who pretended to even see ray tracing that was non-existent were the only ones pretending the game looked glorious while pretending to be unbiased.
What’s happening here is Microsoft is exposing your stannery in a way that hasn’t happened before and that’s why this is an L you guys are gonna hold regardless of how Halo ends up looking.

Nobody ever looks at a game demo from 8 months before release and thinks “this game looks done/not done”

What was always said was that the demo was a work in progress. 343i themselves said the lighting wasn’t ready and would be patched in later. Plenty of demos including the Halo 5 demo have had graphical things like pop in and streaming issues cleared up close to release.

The reaction/memes of the game have no bearing on its delay. That’s the Sony stan scenario y’all want to promote, then you make up these goofy standards and revisionist nonsense to try to prove it

The halo release has been pretty typical, it's sony stans blowing things up.

The last of us 2 being delayed after it was done indefinitely and then getting it's whole game story released, getting trashed and boycotted and then getting announced with a release date right after was a bigger cluster.
