By its very nature Game Pass needs diverse exciting titles. This isn't the same regime in charge that was when Rare was purchased. The company is ran drastically different.

An exaggeration but they do need more tentpoles. They definitely tried to course correct with stuff like Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Ryse etc. Not bad games by an stretch but MS needs to give stuff time to cook. Sony at least gave Killzone and Resistance damn near 4 and 5 chances each.
