The games cost $10 difference and it happened with Horizon but not with the rest. Buying the latest God of War on PS4 doesn’t include the PS5 version.
It’s less an issue now as PS5s are available and the PS4 is going to be cut off through.

Ionno about now, but my copy of GOW Ragnorak has both versions. Like most games, first or third party that have cross-gen releases.
There was a more expensive version that had both.

The deal was until 2027, this new term is until 2033. It’s a much better deal as activision doesn’t really produce any other games outside of crash bandicoot.
That original deal didn’t cover blizzard either. 6 additional years of COD revenue is better than whatever shovelware games activision would have provided with the original within the next 4 years
COD is/was never going anywhere and 10 years with extended marketing beyond 2024 was offered a long time ago.

We've gone from Activision is too big and it will allow micrososft to cannibalize the market to its not a big deal because all they release is call of duty and crash bandicoot?
