As a curious onlooker I don’t think nikkas understand what’s going on here
this can end up nasty in a lot of different sectors

Its not about to wild the fukk out. Its just that FTC needs better evidence or arguments to stop these mergers etc.. The Microsoft court case was embarassing and they should of consulted third parties who are involved in video game sales etc.. They used argument points from a Japanese company who has a monopoly on the market.

The ftc had legs to stand on as far as trying to prove a point. They could at least created some kind of doubt, instead they made MS look like a start up company just trying to get its foot in the door.
If anything hopefully this a wake up call so that actual important cases where the FTC should be getting involved get handled with care.

The long term is this happens regardless and has been happening since Sony entered the business, the real problem is people don't like MS. Meanwhile for over 25 years Sony has "organically" aquired studios and publishers without as much as a peep from Stan's concerned about consolidation.
The crazy thing is y'all would rather let these IPs sit around until google or Amazon scoops them up instead of MS.
