It's a smart move so he doesn't blow his money assuming he trust his parent to do right by him.

me personally i would bank the money and give my parents whatever they needed no questions asked

My moms deserves it, it would benefit way more people in her hands, and she is a better investor than me. I'd give moms 2hunnid, pops 2hunnid, and keep 100 for myself. In terms of money and headaches I owe them way more

No disrespect bruh, but your parents didint do a great job at teaching you to be financially literate and responsible if your first action when gettin some money is to give it all away and let someone else manage it :dead:

A bunch of fatherless and motherless orphans posting here. :scustscust:

It is probably for tax purposes and he probably knows his parents are good with money.

Don't you have to be 18 to play the lottery?

He's an adult, fukk is he doing giving it all to his parents?
He can help his parents with the money but still retain agency and control over it.

There's nothing wrong persay with he's doing, it just comes off as juvenile and using his parents as a safety blanket or an out so he wont have to make tough decisions.

Trust me, him giving this away to them will cause more issues down the line especially if they are not fiscally conservative with what should be his money.

Imagine 2 years later his parents are like "we spent all that money... we broke now son "

He's really denying himself a great oppurtinity to learn money management and prepare to be his own man. Nah he wants mommy and daddy to just handle that tho
