I have always been fukk the Republicans, Conservatives, and Tea Party aka the Party of Jefferson Davis.

Now, I'm like fukk the Democrats, these soft liberals, and all the c00n nikkaz in the Congressional Black Caucus that have soldout all of the black people they represent.

I really don't see myself voting in the next election.

I hope this will finally show black people to not let any political party take our vote for granted.

Agreed, let the dems rely on the (More malleable) Hispanic vote for awhile. They think that their little "coalition" is impenetrable right now....I really would like to see them get punched in the gut this next election.

that is the whole point people see it as a way out of the hood and it should not be...for every athlete living in the top not neighborhoods you better believe there are wealthier people next door to them that have wealth for generations in so many different lines of work..investment bankers, ceo's, business owners, executives etc why arent the black people not paying attention to these people? Why are most of the people in Jamaica are poor and uneducated? The African descendant people in Jamaica have their own country, unlike the descendants of African slaves in the USA. So, the African descendants in Jamaica should have no excuse for most of their people being poor and uneducated. There is no longer a white man that is holding the people of Jamaica down.

It's crazy how Africans or people of African descent are always shytting on and judging the descendants of African slaves in the USA. When majority of the people in their country are doing no better than descendants of African slaves in the USA.

Ignoring that and focusing only on actors/singers/athletes isn't the right route.

Here is my main beef with some of you on here, There are BLACK AMERICANS in these positions.......No one is saying that Entertainment and Sports are the only way out of the hood......They are just PROVEN LANES that have worked not for all of course not but for HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS

Often Athletes have degrees or some obtain them after they finish their career. It is A way out of the hood, There are hundreds of thousands of examples, check pro sports from just Football and Basketball alone.

No one is knocking education at all, Michael Jordan has BLACK WEALTH which stemmed from Basketball and he ventured into many other arenas. The point is that these are lanes, You should never down talk a LANE that has created hundreds of thousands of SUCCESS STORIES

Many Black Americans are graduating with degrees in science and technology and we have many Black American Math teachers and many graduates period. They are portraying the success of the lower class in society as the face of BLACK AMERICA and completely forgetting about Black Middle and upper class

Why are they not highlighting the success stories of American Blacks to give REAL MOTIVATION to these newly graduates?? Why are they talking down to these students as if this is the proper audience for the same ol' tired stereotypical rhetoric that is nothing but a bad attempt at trying to appeal to white sentiment to come across as bi partisan

listen...smaller countries and islands dont have welfare...dont have a infrastructure like United States of America, hence thats why many people move to this country. In schools in other countries you have to pay for books and supplies, so many people cannot afford to get a quality education because they do this. In america you have free public schooling..I always say it and people from other countries do too..If you cannot make something of yourself United States its just because of being lazy, thats why the asians and indian's come here and excel and get the best jobs and business, they are minorities too, they actually stick together and support each other instead of making excuses.. You are pretty much given a shot to get educated at not cost. You can go through grade school get good grades and land a scholarship. Even if you do not you still have federal assistance and grants to help pay. There is no excuse for this here so do not compare other countries with this situation you brought up. United States is a place of opportunity and although harder for the black man, they still have opportunity and it is crazy that people are given the opportunity and throw it away and do bs with themselves.

that comparison you made are like comparing apples to oranges, a unequal comparison. oh and i am not even trying to brag, but I am a product of this, I have 2 graduate degrees, young, black, successful and it was easy as hell to do it, if i can i know anyone could that actually put some type of effort into it.

what the hell r u talking about, I determine what I want to do with my life. I am in control of my destiny, If i want to reside in a certain country, city or town thats my business. I am such a proud jamaican, more important a proud black man. I go back to my country at least a weekend out of a month I am not running away, its my favorite place to be on this earth, but I do my business in the states so happen to be here, dont talk about goverment suppressing people because you can use that argument with any country including united states. my job is not to create a better infrastructure my job is to do what I choose to be successful.
