3 championships with 3 different franchises is highly impressive. Not as a passenger but bring the man. Lebron doesn’t get enough credit there.
This argument never made complete sense to me. In an age where players essentially pick and choose where they want to go and who they want to play with, how is it more difficult to win than when you’re relying on the front office to make the right moves, pay the right people and not be afraid to take risks.

If LeBron can decide, on his own accord (for the most part), to go where there are good players then is it really that much of a challenge? If Jordan didn’t renew his contract and decided to team up with Hakeem and Patrick Ewing to win a championship with the Knicks, would that be considered another notch on his belt?

Jordan averaged so much cause of the context in which he played. Karl Malone is quite literally the reason why you guys look to be senile. I can’t even believe you thought this was a valid argument
I don't know wtf you're trying to say jit. LeBron averaged so much cause of the context he played in. That context being a softer league, less calls, more flopping, etc. I mean...the NBA had to change rules so players like Harden couldn't keep drawing fouls from braindead refs. This is the context that your GOAT plays in?

If Jordan played in that same context, add at least 10 points to his average.

A current NBA player is telling you its easier to score in the league compared to Europe and your response is, "yeah but Jordan averaged 30 points because the league wasn't so soft"....what?? lmao :childplease:

Byron Scott and James Worthy Went down. They might’ve been the favorites before that. The team was old. Trailblazers? No. Suns? No. Sonics? No. Jazz? No, twice.
They were old but Lebron and Durant and Curry ain't stop Worthy and Scott was 10 years in cut it out

Completely unprompted and fabricated thread. The insecurity is amazing really. People really clinging now that James is the all time scoring leader. Its only going to get worse as he continues to solidify himself in the top 10s of so many stat categories.

By the time this dude retires haters gonna be working full time jobs to discredit him.

I'll say this though, as someone who watched BBall through the 80s and 90s, the idea that a mf built like Lebron James would have had trouble in the 'physical' era is laughable as fukk. All the push offs and shyt they allowed back then? nikkas like Lebron have the strength and size to ragdoll 90% of the league, and he absolutely would have, and the refs would have allowed that shyt.

Bullshyt what other teams were objectively better besides the warriors?

The Mavs the Spurs stop and we come to find out Spo is one the best coaches in basketball.
Coach Pop is a top basketball mind… That’s why a lot of people who coached under him went on to have their own careers.
The Mavs series was the only one where he was a favorite and lost. Maybe one of the Spurs series

They need to hurry up and produce a Last Dance remake, every day more and more people in the media are saying Lebron is the GOAT. The young people already think that and people like me are starting to seriously consider it. Only a matter of time before the opinion shifts

Ain’t no one GOAT in a team game. Phil Jackson might be a Goat coach tho. I wonder how many GOAT coaches LeBron played for? In basketball people are always changing up the prerequisites/ qualifications.
foh with your bron stan drivel

if MJ aint goat because its a team sport, then neither should phil be considered the GOAT coach he wasnt even the one who made the triangle it was Tex winter who did
And a coach can only go so far if not nowhere without the players

And his teams were never the favorites to win.
LOL why must you lie, 2011, 2013, and 2020 prove you wrong, and even 2014 was by a barely slight margin for the spurs, and they were only given the edge because of homecourt advantage. The heat and the Spurs were seen as freakin equal by the betting odds.

no one predicted them to stomp the heat tho as they did. If the spurs won alot of people predicted it would be in a tight 6 at the least.

One thing is for sure… LeBron played against better talent… . The Bulls were always the favorites. When they play the Lakers in the finals, they suffered two major injuries; Byron Scott and James Worthy. Magic subsequently retired due to HIV. Isaiah Thomas retire in 91 and Larry bird retired in 92.
ok real quick isaiah retired in 94 not 91 stupid. and had already lost to MJ.

and if we talking injuries and talent, you bron stans gotta stop acting like Bron stayed all the time facing KD/Curry/Giannis level players and Warriors level talent. Part of the reason this man went to the Finals so much between 2011-2018 was cause most of the teams in the east he played against didn't have the talent his teams had, nor did they have the star/primary player(lowry/derozan Raptors, Isaiah thomas celtics) be at the talent anywhere near Bron like Curry, Kd, Giannis is. to compete

injury wise, this man played against the 60 win ATL Hawks starting lineup dropping like flies every game, injured Isaiah Thomas led celtics, no d rose Bulls in 2013,and has won his past 2 championship rings with a suspension, and injuries working to his favor. :dead:

so you can STFU about the 91 finals, espescially as your boy bron won his last ring in a eerily similar way of a 1st option player(Jimmy) losing his second and third option players(Bam and Dragic) as Magic did,

So wrong. More like the opposite. MJ would average 50 and LJ would get beat up and break down before this long ass career. He'd be even more shook to engage, would be mentally victimized by the likes of Rodman.
This is ridiculous cause NO ONE IS SHOOTING THE BALL 28+ TIMES A GAME WHILE GETTING TO THE LINE 13+ TIMES A GAME.

I swear to God it's so weird hearing casuals spout this idiotic stuff. No one is allowing a player to shoot that much every game.

Not just that, but there are SOOOOOOOO many better wings and defenders in this league then there ever was in the 80-90's.

This current era is a league of giants

Nobody is discrediting him he just number 2 but that ain't good enough his wasn't going to rag doll 90 percent of the league.
