he is stupid and knows that MJ ain’t here to clap back but Mariah would in an instant even tho they are “cool” with each other.

Beyoncé is a worker and I’ll give her credit but her solo body of work can barely touch Mariah (or Madonna) so MJ shouldn’t be in the conversation. His Jackson 5/Jacksons stuff shyts on her catalog and where are her real classics? She rides waves just like her husband and sacrifices a quality project because these days it’s safer to be a “vibe” than anything else.

End to end there’s no completion for Michael Jackson because this dude has eras that will body any artist. Who can compete with the Thriller/Bad era? Let’s be real. And those who don’t do their homework and are flat out ignorant would be flat out humbled by the amount of hits the Jackson 5/Jacksons have with Michael leading the way the entire time.

why does she deserve credit for working hard as if she’s the only one that takes her craft seriously.. everybody talks about her work ethic but realistically it really ain all that and she don’t deserve praise for working hard. Everybody works hard to eat out here. Most of her achievements is all PR/handlers.. she ain that talented. Average at best

Oh I give her credit for doing what’s asked of her. You never hear of her breaking down and she will do a whole album plus videos for all the songs and it comes outta nowhere.

she’s a worker and that can be appreciated because literally everyone from her era is washed or irrelevant. She’s also an earner and that comes with certain praise

nah you don’t deserve credit for doing you job or fulfilling your obligations as a supposed artist/performer. U dnt get extra credit .. a bigger budget compared to your peers don’t take more work, just more resources. She’s washed and irrelevant just like them too. It’s all PR ..smokes and mirrors. She’s painfully average bro

I see everyone getting up n arms about his comment I guess I took it differently. I didn't take it as him saying Beyonce on the same level of MJ or better. I took it as him saying MJ kicked down the door and showed the level of stardom. Beyonce took the opportunity of what MJ did and kick down more doors(hence him saying evolution).

nah, evolution means the latest version is better. when they say man evolved from ape they are saying man is a better version of the ape

for example, MJ is an evolution of James Brown, reason is because he took JB's dancing and blueprint to another level, ie MJ is better than JB, which even JB would agree with, what Jay was trying to say is that MJ was the blueprint but B took it to another level, which is false, B hasnt done anything greater than MJ

its a minor thing but part of the problem with B and why she'll never be at MJ's level is that you can SEE her working and trying, you can tell shes trying really hard, but with MJ, in his shows and videos he's always smooth as butter, even tho we know he busted his ass practicing, it seems natural

that smoothness has been there since he was 10 years old

But that’s based on your limited point of view. Madonna is not only more popular than the ladies mentioned but she has more star power as well outside of Whitney. They were equals.

Beyoncé may have more star power than TSwift in America and maybe Africa. But America is debatable and TSwift is bigger than Bey in Asia and equal in Europe. Idk about South America. Your view is tainted because you’re viewing Bey from the lens of an American.

Facts nobody knows who the fukk Beyonce is in Asia. Billions of people in Asia. Mariah Carey is well known in Asia.

Madonna being a bigger touring act than whitney/Celine/Mariah doesn’t give her more star power than them either.

Touring power isn’t the beginning and end of star power..
Beyoncé is more recognizable, her image and music is more iconic/influential due to her strong pop culture presence over 20+ years. They are modeling pop stars in SK after Beyonce today in 2021.. building a skyscraper in the image of her body in Australia

Beyoncé-inspired skyscraper to be built in Melbourne | Beyoncé | The Guardian

outside of Asia and Oceania Beyoncé is bigger in South America, Africa and edges her out in continental Europe

Taylor is clearly the bigger commercial draw for obvious reasons, but I don’t think Beyoncé’s star power in general as a celebrity, brand and pop culture fixture has been supplanted yet by Taylor who doesn’t cross generations, different races (Latino/black etc) the way Beyonce does

And your proving that MJ beat her because during his run 1982-1991 there was no question who was the biggest pop star regardless was race

My post ain got nothing to do with whatever mj vs Beyoncé debate going on in here. He’s bigger than her then, now and forever more. Cool

I’m not gonna prop up no white pop tart singer like Taylor that sells records just because she’s white ..she’s another Norah Jones, she ain no bonefide icon w/the longevity and impact in her own right like Bey.

Because by comparison most artist who debuted post 05 barley have any kind of musical talent. But I agree. They all work hard.
