I thought he was great in both fruitvile station and Creed. He acted his ass off in that jail cell in creed and jail scene in fruitvale. Haven't seen black panther yet though. Your opinions and threads are trash. You are not the go to of street shyt ol light skin ass nikka.

I've only seen him in the wire and black panther. His role in wire is perfect, Wallace as a nice kid that shouldn't be in the streets and he played it perfectly.

Killmonger wasn't as convincing. Museum scene was good others not as much, it's like he's forcing himself to speak a certain type of way in the ending scene when he died.

It's not that he's not convincing

It's the fact a lot of people might still picture him as a kid you saw in his younger roles...

A lot of actors who had kid roles really can't shake people opinions as they adults.

If Chadwick started his career say on sesame street or some kid movie where his dog fukking super hero he might look different in people eyes

First let me start off by saying I salute him. Hes been grinding for years and hard work pays off, so he deserves the money and fame.

WIth that said. I have gave him time n time again to prove me wrong.

First was in Fruitvale Station, when his character would start getting mad and start talking hood, i said that he wasn't convincing.

Then in Creed, when he would charge nikkas up, I still felt it was unnatural.

I go into Blacc Panther thinking, maybe this is it. Maybe he finally found his comfort zone and can be a believable villian/tough guy. But still it wasn't there.

I dont care how much muscles he puts on or how many slugs he puts in his mouth, he just doesnt convince me as a bad guy/tough.
Maybe its his voice, idk

I disagree dude is a very good actor...I will agree alot of his roles are just the same character in different scenarios and he lacks depth.....but his character in the wire showed that depth..soooo..I guess its just more so the roles he chooses as an adult...

Not true.

The only kid roles i remember him from is the wire and hardball. Most ppl haven't seen neither one.
I'm not the type to judge ppl by pass roles anyway.

That nikka who played peewee Herman did a good job in blow even tho he was playing A fakkit.

That fat white boy did a good job in wolf of wall street etc

I argued that the breh from Moonlight would have been a better fit for Killmonger.

Trevante Rhodes
I agree. I wonder if him not being a real actor affects him getting roles. I remember him saying he randomly got into moonlight because one of the ppl who were casting saw him at the gym lifting weights
