Absolutely. I went there with some friends back in 2017.

Cuba is heavily Black. Not as much as the DR but more than any other Hispanic country. I saw people Blacker than me all over Havana.

In the ritzy areas, you'll find White Cubans but they love AA's(at least on the surface level) so you won't have any real issues at bars, clubs, stores, etc.

I was talking about Miami, but that's good to know about Cuba.

This is from an economical standpoint. I was kind of when LeBron left Miami Heat. How is there are more Mexicans in LA but that bilingual BS isn't as of a barrier for black men to make a living. Blacks built the infrastructure of Miami but cannot even get the simplest shyt of a job to take care of their family. The simplest! Black people are blackballed like a motherfukker but these cubans want to get on TV and front to the world like it is a multicultural matrimony. i can tell you from personal experience that you should not be looking for work in an ethnic enclave if you are not of that ethnicity. immigrant communities are not normal communities. they all have an agenda and you dont really fit in it. they need to provide entry level opportunities for all new immigrants while stacking money for longer tenured immigrants to venture out. chances are, you will get the same cold shoulder in chinatown or in minnesota with those somalians.

the white cubans do have a race issue, but that's because they are just cacs with accents. latino is a very broad term that includes people from several ancestries all speaking either spanish or portugese. when you look at many of these cuban exiles, you are often looking at transplanted southern europeans. they were brought here to try to oversee plantations, so they have that white supremacy on the brain. when most people are advocating for immigration reform, they are usually focusing on mestizo or amerindian people. white latinos seem to have fewer problems getting over here legally.

that doesn't make sense as communism/socialism was started by a white man (Marx) and was the dichotomy of a white country (USSR) capitalists don't like communism as it makes everyone the same in terms of class and economics

Really depends. I'd say Mexicans in parts of the Southwest can be hostile if they have gang ties or just a numbers advantage in general. White Cubans in Miami can be very racist but, as some Miami brehs pointed out in other threads, the racism is more systemic, political, and economic based than tied to hostility, competition, and gang violence.

A Black man is safer in Hialeah than East LA but he won't get job opportunities in either city.

In the East Coast, though, neither Mexicans or Cubans seem to be a problem. Mexicans are quiet and keep to themselves. And they tend to the friendly "Paisa"/"Mojado" types that look fully Native American.

Cubans in NYC tend to be Black or Afro-Latino similar to Panamanians and Hondurans in NYC but Jersey has a lot of White ones. White Cubans in NJ are no where near as bad as the ones in Miami. I never heard of anyone having problems with them out there.

That's just speaking for the American ones though. Funnily enough, Mexico itself is very friendly towards AADOS expats and Haitian refugees and Cuba is similarly accepting of AADOS and Afro-Cubans have a heavy presence and cultural influence there. They tend to look down on their American counterparts too lol.
