Yea I don't know how anyone can watch Canelo vs. Chavez and GGG vs. Jacobs and come away thinking Canelo going wash GGG
GGG fought a MUCH better fighter , who'd probably beat Canelo honestly, who has physical advantages over Canelo AND punches harder and never hurt GGG.
Canelo just fought a fukking bum punching bag for 12 rounds and couldn't KO him.
Also I wonder if Canelo will be able to deal with GGG jab, he looks like a midget next to GGG. shyt might get spooky
I predict a great close fight. I think it is too simplistic by GGG stans (I am a known stan) to assume GGG will run through Canelo. Canelo is very talented and will have some advantages vs. GGG. He will have faster hands and fight better off the back foot. That said, despite being at a speed disadvantage, GGG's jab seems to be money vs. whoever he fights and lands like a power punch at times. It will again be a key punch vs. Canelo because I think he will need it to set up combos due to the speed disadvantage.

I think the power difference will be interesting. I dont think Canelo is naturally heavy handed in the ways GGG is. Canelo needs accumulation or to run you into a flush counter. I expect GGG to be more cautious in his come forward style like he was vs. Lemieux and Jacobs.

I do expect Canelo to want to box more and it will be interesting to see how much Canelo wants to brawl. Initially I think a lot thought the fight would be a brawl, but with how GGG wanted to box vs. Jacobs and Canelo despite the stereotypical Mexican heritage which may get people to hype him to want to brawl is a smart fighter who has really learned since Mayweather it is smarter to box.

It will be a great fight between two of the best boxers today. Can't wait.

september 16 about to be lit... my birthday and the largest fight in boxing on the same damn day.:banderas:

gonna love to see how Canelo deals with Golovkin's vicious combos. Putting my money on Canelo's counterpunching and bodywork to neutralize Golovkin's power unlike any of his opponents in the past.

97g slow ass combos are easily neutralized with movement...

See Danny Jacobs and Kell Brook...

The only question I have regarding Canelo is can he handle this guys power cuz that's really the only thing 97g has...Dude hits hard and that has to be respected...Canelo has a habit of pinning himself on the ropes, he does that on purpose but against this generic euro HBO hype job can crusher it would be best to avoid the ropes entirely...Dude simply hits too hard to let him swing on you trying to set him up with a counter fighting off the ropes...

Canelo doesn't have the footspeed like Danny.

Nacho: Chavez Jr. Was Afraid To Let His Hands Go on Canelo

"It was really negative, everything, totally, we did not win a round. It is not possible to cover the sun with a finger, Canelo Alvarez is simply better technically speaking," Nacho said to ESPN Deportes.

"I asked him to throw punches, simply to throw punches but he was afraid to throw a jab or a certain combination because he knew that three or four punches would come back in return, and those doubts were born in his head real early and they stayed with him for the entire fight."

"[I don't blame the fans for being frustrated with is performance], they are quite right in feeling that way, and I feel the same way too, and he must also be frustrated, his father too, everyone. He should apply himself and he should behave like a boxing pro and success will come to him." - See more at: Nacho: Chavez Jr. Was Afraid To Let His Hands Go on Canelo - Boxing News

:CaneLMFAO: at nacho pretty much callin Jr a bytch ass ho. I already knew they would end up blaming each other. Canelo killed 2 birds with one stone last night. Nacho and Jr both hated on him for years. Made em both bow down and kiss the rang:CaneloRejoice:
