Yeah this one was special enough for me to say it’s definitely goty, Rebirth is a close second but it could be either oneMan I loved this game. As a dude who grew up playing FF7-10 and all those late 90s early 00s JRPGS, these last few years have been just as good honestly. What a comeback for the genre.
FF7Rebirth/Ramake, Metaphor, LAD/InfiniteWealth, XC3, Octopath2, Chained Echoes. Hell even strategy based games like Triangle Strat Unicorn Overlord. Am I so sure this list isn’t just straight up better than back then? Crazy
Louis started to run dry towards the end. But for a while he had all time JRPG villain potential. Next game we need a full on voiced MC. It’s time. Other than that no complaints. Archetypes>>>>>>Personas. I loved the combat and mechanics in this game. Still hated social links but at least it wasn’t as time consuming, with needing to match persona types and shyt for maximum gains. They really cut out a lot of tedious bullshyt and I appreciate Atlus for it. 9.5/10
Atlas is low key underrated. Disgaea, Persona, Metaphor... these dudes don't miss.Man I loved this game. As a dude who grew up playing FF7-10 and all those late 90s early 00s JRPGS, these last few years have been just as good honestly. What a comeback for the genre.

Ok there's a boss that forces your party to 300 HP max that I wasn't prepared for. Constant hex and poison and group attacks that hit some of the mages for well over 125 hp in damage. Been fighting this thing for hours and I get it down to almost no HP and it gets cheaper and cheaper until the party gets wiped.
It's the last one of these 3 optional bosses and it's been rough. The other two were very easy in comparison. One of them has an attack that hits the party for 9999 damage and with repel magic on 2 characters and the persona master removing it's elemental immunity it ended up killing itself when that attack bounced off 2 party members at the same time and ate all it's health.
man I cant settle on an archetype for the mc keep switching between seeker lineage, mage, healer.
My MC was always a mage. I put all bonus points into magic after maybe the first 15-20 levels. His magic is in the 70s around level 68 while the next highest is in the 50s.man I cant settle on an archetype for the mc keep switching between seeker lineage, mage, healer.
