Outside of the new cut scenes and some remixed music, that was pretty much a spot on recreation of metal gear solid with mgs2 mechanics.

They need to remake areas if that's the case. Twin Snakes first person mode made it too easy.

welp only the first one gettin that treatment the other 2 are remasters...seems like this a trend i see going on...the oldest game in the series always gets the remake and the others after it get remasters...they did that clown shyt with mafia 2
