I'm curious, only girlfriends deserve mutual respect as a person? Like if you are having casual sex with a woman, y'all are just constantly disrespecting each other? Even if a woman is cool, respectful in general because she has sex with you and not in a relationship with you, you treat them like crap?

I always kept things casual with my FWB/FB and just focused on the sex. At the most maybe get some take out, but never any pda or public acknowledgement....

I'm not talking about doing/ wanting extra relationship benefits. Those aren't the same things as just general respect as a person. The way it came off is that is something reserved for girlfriends and HOH for any other woman you deal with. I don't get treating people like crap for no reason.

I think people can be FWB or FB without the disrespect. I couldn't imagine having sex with someone I barely liked as a person or who didn't acknowledge me outside of the bedroom. We are all adults here. We don't need to be in a romantic relationship in order to practice basic decency and respect.
