I’ve never got the impression that the issue with comic book movies was there was too many of them. It was that the studios want the same formulaic stories and return on investment that they get and as such it’s difficult to get the films they want made.People always complain about comic book movies killing cinema, but not that many of them come out a year.

I'm okay with characters from like 1950 being a bunch of mostly white dudes.
For whatever reason their stories have lasted and we just wanna see the shyt on TV. They try too hard to be creative. Just film the comic books.
Same with Star Wars. Just use Knights of the Old Republic or whatever else "Legends" novels an shyt that people have been liking for decades.
