If the complainers just kept it contained to a series or movie thread there would only be 2 or 3 Marvel related threads on the front page. But we see they can't help themselves and have to make these grand declarations about the the entire MCU ib a completely new thread.Where do these crazy marvel stans exist at? I only ever see people shyting on the MCU because I guess it's the cool thing to do these days.
i dont get the hate cause im seeing tons of people who never fukk with MCU really drawn to shyt like moon knightIf the complainers just kept it contained to a series or movie thread there would only be 2 or 3 Marvel related threads on the front page. I agree, I just watched Ms. Marvel's latest ep the amount of Muslim Indian/Pakistani culture in it is dope! They went all the way, I'm feeling it.i dont get the hate cause im seeing tons of people who never fukk with MCU really drawn to shyt like moon knight
i unno but this new mcu seems llike an interesting beginning with heroes of way different backgrounds and motivations.
You guys really excited to watch this?
Leave @StraxStrax out of thisEveryone in here with “gripes” are the ones that wanna see the Barbie movies breh.
Too many to single out but they checking the tweets and counting the days down till it drops cuz that’s what they want more of
Waiting for that My Little Pony and Jem movies next
That’s not exactly true
It was discussed in another thread from WandaVision to Loki to What If to NWH to most recently DS2 they clearly been taking us on a journey to the Multiverse…. That was the direction now do we know the Endgame?
No, but we also didn’t know the Endgame (no pun intended) or direction in Ph1 at the time of all the movies from IM1 even up to IM2
Like no one knew Guardians, Capt Marv, Spiderman or BP was coming or their roles.
Shang chi, Eternals, Moonknight, and Thor 4 seem to be taking us on a direction of introducing and explaining the Gods in the MCU
And BW, CA&WS, and Hawkeyes are showing us the viewpoint of the street level shyt.
So we seeing 3 different levels of perspective (multiverse, Cosmic, Street) and I’m sure they will tie it all together in the end like have they thus far always have with the first 3 phases
O i agree there is still a narrative being told. I also understand we are going from 3 movies a year to 4 movies a year/4-6 tv shows a year as well so there's multiple plotlines all moving(Multiverse/Thunderbolts/Young Avengers etc). I'm also a mcu nerd though and that's asking alot from just a casual viewer. There's no big overarching threat for the casual fans to be aware of right now and without that connectivity people are saying it's "boring"
At the end of the day these movies are still doing ridiculous numbers so it's all just chatter amongst the fanbase. As someone else said on here Marvel has no competition so people are just comparing it to themselves at this point.
I don’t know I just get lost with the Fatigue shyt when you there’s only like you said 4-6 projects a year.
If there was like say 40-60 I would be like ok yea but hard a lot
But like as it now….. there’s been like 200 movies that’s been released this year…. DS was the only MCU film, NWH came in Dec but rolled over so that’s questionable and now we bout to get Thor and niccas like “omg….. im tired”
That’s just funny to me and ain’t no one stopping niccas from going to see Downtown Abby
shyt has been basically garbage since IW.
Certain people on here can’t handle the truth and will just post box office numbers like they mean something. The movies have been subpar regardless of how much money they made.
It hurts to say but I’m calling a spade, a spade. shyt just ain’t what it use to be.
Endgame was garbage.
Black Widow was mediocre.
Shang Chi was okay.
Eternals was boring .
Spider-Man NWH was overrated. Mediocre at best.
And Multiverse of Madness was straight garbage.
TV shows have been mediocre also.
Facts but I think that magic is long gone. Plus Cap, Thor, Iron Man, and to an extent Black Panther were always loved and revered even as B-sometimes A list characters so it wasn't that hard to make them stars. The only one I'll give them credit for is making GOTG way bigger than what they were. But as of right now its time for the heavy hitters to come out. I would've loved to have seen Reed Richard's come up with a contraption to get rid of Thanos but that might have made the movie shorter and no sequelEveryone saying "they gotta bring in Fantastic Four and X-Men" are forgetting that Marvel made hits out of B and C tier characters like Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Black Panther.
They did it with:
1. Great casting. Downey, Hemsworth, Evans, Boseman. These were all once in a lifetime castings. Even who they got for Loki and Star Lord was crazy good. Their charisma carried a lot of movies. None of these new people are touching that.
2. The overarching infinity stones story kept us interested even when the movies weren't so good (Thor 2, Iron Man 2 and 3)
3. Every now and then they'd deliver a legitimately good movie. Not a good "comic book movie". But a movie that stands up on its own like Winter Soldier.
