Also, I don't think people realize how unfocused Floyd was for that fight. Dude was on the radio pouring his heart out about his ex the day before the damn fight. As soon as I heard that shyt I thought "Oh damn this nikka isn't focused, he might fukk around and catch an L".
This time around he'll be more focused, and like the first Castillo fight which was very close, he'll do better in the rematch and make it case closed.
floyd-guerrero did not do a milly...it was a ppv that flopped with casuals and boxing heads...no one talked about this ppv before or after...showtime did not make the ROI needed from all the money they spent promoting the shyt..so thats why they had to pick a still green Canelo with his mexican fanbase, the largest in boxing, in order to sell and recoup some money and then some..after that Floyd-Maidana took place due to the fact Maidana took the zero of a notable fighter that casuals know in a great fight...a far better fight than what canelo-trout was...why didn't that sell like floyd-canelo?...because maidana does not have a casual fanbase....there were people here who didn't even know who maidana was before he fought broner...and that PPV underperformed like the floyd-guerreroone which is worse because they had khan and broner on in non descript fights which they shelled money out on.
and I don't know if you ever watched a Floyd ppv but you see the celebs whom im sure most are casual are shelling out money for those seats...you dont see them on FNF or fox sports cards lol..as far as I know only rosie perez is the only celeb that's a true boxing head thaty ive seen rep boxing to the point where she watches every damn fight from the small cards to the big ones

yeah the only Floyd showtime ppv that did over a milly was the canelo fight..thats it..that ppv was where Floyd got a rude awakening on his ppv importance
