Yes man I was lucky…. Right time and right place.

Cuz from that moment 9th became a homey.

Like every time Ive ever seen him, he never “big timed me”

He’ll always show love. We had like actual conversations about life and shyt.

And not to mention from the hometown we know a lot of the same people.

Like I got another one for you, Big Remo. I grew up with that nicca. Talking middle school.

I can tell yall something else but yall would’ve even believe me
I got a few LB memories myself. I attended NCCU from 99-03 and was at WXDU every Friday at Duke which was the local meeting place for all the local Durham MCs before social media and LB was always there playing new records.

I was there the week 9th came back from working with Jayz and he told us the whole story in the control room of the station.

We definitely ran into each other up there. I was there a lot of Friday nights from late 01-04

@feelsthecitybreathin when I said playlist of videos I mean a literal playlist I made on windows media player, not an online list.

I download shows/movies/docs/performances/music videos/dj sets that I like and make different playlists so if push comes to shove, I always have my own little TV network on my hard drive :whew:

Y'all trust that streaming stuff if you want to  stuff gets taken down all the time and you never see it again, or you end up in a situation where you can't connect online so you're shyt outta luck. I do the same with music

@Ziggiy there was a post where you stated how The Listening was based off a radio show, TMS was based off a television show, and their 3rd album was suppose to be a based off a movie

Is there an article or more in depth explanation for that plan?

It was an interview with 9th Wonder from a few years ago where he talked about how signing to a Major label affected them as a group and how Phonte created the Percy Miracles persona in part to cope with the bullshyt they were dealing with trying to get the album put out.

I’ll try to find it but it must’ve been at least 5 years ago or so.

I wish journalism wasn't so trash, they basically ran off Andrew Noz and he's the only cac I've ever seen in life who REALLY knew damn near every southern deep cut artist and would have really good write ups and interviews

Between 88.1, 88.7, and 90.7 you could catch a lot of good music during that era.
