plenty…after the party, hiding place, for you, plastic cups, I don’t care, black magic, say it again….i could go on

I’ll have to revisit those songs. Hiding Place is one of my favorite LB songs tho and he got smoked by Elzhi and Phonte on that track.

Them “Smooth criminal b4 the rape charge” bars weren’t moving me. :unimpressed:

I found out about this, got excited, forgot (i smoke :manny:), then rediscovered and finally watched it over work today...

I REALLY wish 9th could've been a part of it but if Phonte could hear or read me now he'd say prolly say "nikka thats the fukkin problem" -- they made it clear thru out that they came to the conclusion WAY earlier than I realized that he's not a member. I feel where they were coming from on some fronts but some of this shyt, come on now :francis:

There's two sides of this. The music making and the road. Pooh was mentioned as 'extremely shy' on here and I hear the same on Math Hoffa-- they didn't afford 9th that same leniency once and it's not like he's out he acting like some damn rockstar. Breh always struck me as THE nerd of the group, interested in the lab-- not the field, and that opened the doors he wanted. They took issue with that rather than understanding who he is. Phonte said it himself, he didnt really know Pooh as a person-- so how much could he know about 9th?

In their defense he shouldn't have been such a front facing component if he wasn't built for all it entails. Neither of them said it but they'd have been justified in saying he used them. I mean the shyt LITERALLY got your face out there, the lights are flashing, and you're off in the shadows waiting for the calls come in. It's a fukked up situation all around but that's the music biz for you :francis:

I bought Little Brother and Lupe Fiasco off the suggestion of some friends at church and it changed my perspective on life and especially music, forever. I can't thank them all enough regardless of their personal issues
