Two black coordinators and a black GM. Nice.

It's also crazy for me to see Aaron Glenn, Duce Staley, Mark Burnell, Hank Fraley as well as Dan Campbell on the staff; Players I vividly remember watching being coaches. I feel :flabbynsick:
Tell me about it. :to:

Goff cannot make plays post snap. McVay has to tell him everything. When the play breaks down he tends to make big mistakes. Matt Stafford won't do that and other than that the Rams are elite talentwise. The Rams are in win now mode even if it means cap hell for the next 5.

Stafford currently has 23 pick sixes. Tied for 7th all time. Pressure him and he'll give one to you.

So the coach and the QB can communicate via a radio in the QBs helmet. It’s one way only, meaning McVay can talk to Goff but not the other way around. At 15 seconds left on the clock everything shuts off.

McVay would spend the entire time walking Goff through what he should be seeing and what he should do. Because of this our offense was terribly limited, and audibles/hot routes were completely off the table. Beli exploited the fukk outta this and disguised all of the pre snap looks to force Goff to figure it out post snap. Of course he failed miserably and we lost. After that McVay completed abandoned the jet motion offense and went to a dumbed down version of it in hopes that it will help Goff but it didn’t do much. He tried to bring it back last year but Goff would consistently make the wrong read.

For some reason Goff was just never able read defenses on his own. It’s probably because he was babied by McVay for so long that he just got used to it.
:salute: thanks breh

Man, McVay really is the QB whisperer, he's directly responsible for Cousins and Goff's insane contracts

Was wondering what WFT offered since it was considered a "better" offer. The Panthers deal looks better to me. But I do think the Lions did good give me two firsts, a 3rd and a player(even though I dont like Goff)

Stafford has had to be reeled in throughout his career at points. He’s modern day Favre. He’s going to put up some crazy numbers and can make some crazy tight window throws but expect his TO to skyrocket with McVays high powered scheme. Wouldn’t shock me at all if LA finished 3rd or fourth in this division if SF gets healthy and finds an ok qb.

Anthony Lynn more conservative offense will be good for Goff. Lynn will maximize Swifts impact. Goff just has to play within himself. Lions don’t have to reach for QB this year

3 picks are better than two and you got a starting QB. Not sure how that WFT deal could possibly be considered better. Panthers add another 1st rounder and they probably get him.

The Rams intentionally reset the market.

What :beli: thought Stafford was worth

'One of their players' was probably Stid:pachaha:

I agree with Bill evaluation to be honest. The player was probably Gilmore.

Stafford is good but I wouldn't move mountains for him. Lions won this deal at the moment, but if they use the picks badly and/or Rams win the SB then Rams won.

I personally think Rams are putting to much into getting vets rather than relying on draft.
