Stafford has had a 100 yard rusher in a single game 11 times...

11 times...in 11 seasons

If Cam Akers takes the next step and continue the momentum he had at the end of the season Stafford is going to love that shyt. Combine that with a top tier defense and good WRs and he’s gonna eat.

Goff was truly an awful QB. It took Gurley falling off for me to see it but he sucks. He was one of the dumbest QBs I’ve ever seen. There is a reason the Rams don’t get set until 15 seconds left on the play clock. That’s because McVay was walking Goff through the defense and progressions on every single play. When the Rams played the Pats in the SuperBowl and McVay couldn’t figure out the defenses for Goff pre snap we got fukked up. Goff is going be awful in Detroit without someone to hold his hand. He will be benched by week 6

That's semantics

Stat poor decision making led to the Lions being down more times than not which took them out of the game plan. There's a reason he's always coming back at the end of games

Edit: Told y'all it was some personal shyt :mjlol:

Can someone explain the whole McVay calling everything for Goff pre-snap thing? That's not normal for a veteran QB right? Like a coach/OC would do that for a rookie/2nd year QB, but McVay had to spell out everything for him that a normal QB should be able to do?

Getting rid of Goff is a W. I saw both games against the niners and yes we had a good defense and his stats looked nice, but he was missing throws to wide open WRs, throwing INTs, with better QB play they def could have took both games more so the 2nd game.

I'm not sure if Stafford will be good enough to win them a Super Bowl, but he's an upgrade. And he'll finally have a decent running game. He should succeed. No excuses he'll have the skill position talent and coaching.

As a niners fan I absolutely hate it, but as a football fan it'll be exciting to see a McVay offense with a legit QB and skill players like Henderson, Akers, Woods, Jefferson, Kupp and Reynolds. Luckily their cap situation is not good and I think they have several key free agents on the defensive side of the ball like Leonard Floyd and Williams. So hopefully their defense takes a step back.

So the coach and the QB can communicate via a radio in the QBs helmet. It’s one way only, meaning McVay can talk to Goff but not the other way around. At 15 seconds left on the clock everything shuts off.

McVay would spend the entire time walking Goff through what he should be seeing and what he should do. Because of this our offense was terribly limited, and audibles/hot routes were completely off the table. Beli exploited the fukk outta this and disguised all of the pre snap looks to force Goff to figure it out post snap. Of course he failed miserably and we lost. After that McVay completed abandoned the jet motion offense and went to a dumbed down version of it in hopes that it will help Goff but it didn’t do much. He tried to bring it back last year but Goff would consistently make the wrong read.

For some reason Goff was just never able read defenses on his own. It’s probably because he was babied by McVay for so long that he just got used to it.
