and kept Jacoby Brissett as a placeholder until they figured out who they wanted to draft. Just bringing in other franchises discarded trash has been expensive. Brissett would have provided the same game manager type of performance for a fraction of the cost

They gave Jacoby $20 million to hold a clipboard for Rivers :mjlol:

Why bring in a guy with only a year or two left when there were signs he was already washed? They should fire everyone just for botching the QB position.

Edit:

Just seen that Foles is #2. Damn, they really threw Ryan in the bushes:russ:

Rivers still played well and was competitive though 🤷🏿. You can’t call a season unsuccessful when you get in the dance with a decent team. It’s clear they just though they were a competent QB away.

That felt like the last fun season, despite the limitations. Glad he got the opportunity to retire gracefully. I swear Bolts fans would hate us though if we trotted Rivers out behind this current O-line, lol.

It was a one year rental for a guy who could never get it done with more talent on his previous team. You went Super Bowl or bust and set your franchise back for nothing. It was not a good move as they're still paying for it now.

Colts fans got their hopes up on the arms of Wentz, Rivers, and Mid Ryan :mjlol:
At the minimum the Texans are in full rebuild, Cocaine airway will never tear it down properly. He did the same shyt trading that 1st round pick for bum ass Trent Richardson :heh:

He's been godawful this year. Just looks completely tentative out there and is a statue.

Elhringer can't be much worse and is 100000% more mobile so it's probably a net positive

He destroyed the jags. What happened Sunday?

He has a separated shoulder but it was clear to see the team was going nowhere with Ryan. He's shook back there in the pocket and he's got a noodle arm now. I understand why they said they were going to bench him regardless of injury - the days of having a statue back there at QB are done. You don't need to be Michael Vick back there, but you need to be at least a little elusive and take some pressure off your OL.

The trade wasn't a terrible idea, but didn't they give him another 40 something mil for next year too? Yikes
