oh, so did you see the Effle tower in red, black, yellow and green? You didn't see any people standing in silence before a show starts or people donating to the families who lose their love ones.

Probably because that was white on black massacre and a US centric affair, whereas Islamic terrorism affects the entire globe. It relates to more people. But continue with the phony outrage if it makes you feel better.

seems like most people overseas are disconnecting the american aspect to the victims and people affected and are focusing on the homosexual aspect.

you don't see people with American flag avatars but rainbow colored avatars and its mostly gays around the world sympathizing with the victims because they're gay not american, probably because they can relate to the hatred towards them for being homosexual.

:stopitslime: Why shouldn't it be lit up for the South Carolina victims? You said that like it's ridiculous to believe it should have been

But we all know why it wasn't lit up

Cac

What he posted was legit though. The South Carolina story was featured HEAVILY by all major media outlets and generated much discussion on the Confederate Flag which even resulted in its removal from the State House. The other usual suspects as far as talking points were featured heavily as well, including race relations, gun control, the civil war, domestic terror in the form of so called patriots, etc.. To be fair, with the way media is today reporting everything in almost real time, it's easy to forget how huge a story from yesterday, or yesteryear can seem.

As far as why the Eiffel tower is being lit up after this massacre, I'd venture to say it's likely because they've had their own issues with Islamic fundamentalists most recently in November 2015 where 130 people got killed. Those attackers were also either influenced or affiliated with ISIL/ISIS. That said, they're likely showing solidarity because they've very recently dealt with the same problem. You can't expect them to feel the same type of national solidarity on that level over the South Carolina church shootings.
